At Foley Middle, we will continue to put academics first and have high expectations for the administration, teachers, staff, and students. Our job is to love, encourage, and inspire our students to be the best they can be in and out of the classroom. We want to ignite their personal genius!
I have an open-door policy and welcome visitors anytime. Your child’s best interest is always at the forefront of my decisions. If you ever have concerns or just want to come by and chat, feel free. Dr. Tiara Bailey
Dr. Bailey brings 24 years of experience in secondary education with five of those years in administration, with a focus on teacher self-efficacy and student relatedness. Having taught general sciences as well as advanced and full-inclusion science courses — including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental and Earth Science — she brings both depth and versatility to the classroom and the administrative office alike. A graduate of the University of South Alabama who also attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Dr. Bailey embodies a unique blend of Southern roots and New England upbringing. Born in the South and raised in New England, she draws inspiration from traveling and engaging with different cultures — a perspective she brings into her work with educators and students. She lives in Baldwin County with her husband and children and is an aspiring artist, speaker, and author of the new book entitled 180 Days.

Nicole Spottswood
Hello! My name is Nicole Spottswood, and I am honored to be a part of Foley Middle School as one of your Assistant Principals. With a deep passion for education and student success, I bring over 18 years of experience in teaching, leadership, and supporting school communities. I began my career as an elementary teacher and have since served in various leadership roles that focused on academic achievement, school culture, and equity for all learners. I am committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every student can thrive. I am excited to work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and amazing students. I believe in collaboration, clear communication, and a growth mindset. Together, we can build on the school’s strong foundation and help every child reach their fullest potential.
